Ever wondered what has happened to some of the people from your past? A school friend or fellow college student? An old flame or someone with whom you've lost touch. Would you like them to know what has happened to you?

Searching through old photos may stir some memories. Here's some selections from the project team's photo albums.

This gang from the early 70's went to Dormerswells Junior School Southhall,
West London.

This is the entire school! Pupils and staff of Portreath Infants and Junior School, Portreath, Cornwall 1977.

Peopleiknew is a simple concept. Its a self-populating database, or in other words, a voluntary record of people searchable by their attendance at either a school, college, polytechnic or university within the UK. All entries are generated by contributions from users of this free service.

We use people's education history to structure our database. But your use of Peopleiknew need not be confined to old school or college contacts - people you have known in all walks of life can be searched for if you have some details of the schools, college or university attended.

Each registered user controls how much of their own information they wish to make available to other users. This can be adjusted any time from a password protected link within the registered user area of the site.

Click on 'Example Searches' to see how your entry could look. You can include up to two photos of yourself - past and present!

Please note this is not a missing persons site.
